Hi Folks,

I know I am being anal but I really like the standard grip on my R7 425. Despite phoning numerous shops and being treated like an idiot I want to get my hands on the standard Taylor Made R7 grip to replace the original. Any suggestions? ;)

Try online there are quite a few places in the US that stock factory grips.
Even try http://www.golfshafts.com.au (http://www.golfshafts.com.au/)

The reason they are treating you like an idiot is because they think you are... Why would you choose the cheapest, nastiest grip you can possibly buy when you could get a nice tour velvet or dual duro or torsion control grip ?

"Because I just like that one . . . " you say.

Put a Tour Velvet on it - it is the same style but way better quality.

Enjoy...

PS: ALL factory grips are the cheapest they can possibly find... always have been.

Go to any pro shop that is on contract with TM. You should be able to find out who they are on the TM website.

Just wondering what the postage cost to get the grips sent from golfworks to brisbane. The reason I ask is I've been trying to find someone in brisbane who stock Golf Pride V55 Cord Ribbed version.

yeah you got to complete an order first, and they will quote you the freight later, or you can ring Donna at Golfworks and she will tell you what shipping will be.

or go to http://www.myostrichgolf.com/ and create a shopping cart with similar items that you want to buy from Golfworks. I have found that their shipping calculator works out to be almost exactly the same what Golfworks will quote

didnt you see my thread about Golfworks, i am buying from them this week? we can bulk the order if you like.

I'm pretty sure they're like Golfsmith and their shipping starts at around USD 40.
