My family had a HUGE party in 2002.

I turned 18 & four days later my dad turned 50.

Three of dad's best friends also turned 50 and lets just say we had at least 500 people at the part (conservative estimate) 8)

I think you will also find us more mature types are way more relaxed on the course and never ever spit the dummy !

I can't say that I agree with that comment. I have seen a lot more 'mature' players chuck a tanty on the course than I have younger players. One of my partners on the weekend for example would be about your age (late 30's). I lost count of how many things he bashed with his club. The fairway, the bunker, the tree, the cartpath, his buggy... etc.

So, all these births in 1965...does that make us Snakes ? I can never remember those Chinese symbols.

Yep - some of us are classier snakes than others though. Its also the only year in Australia that they didnt mint any coins. I guess they thought there was enough class produced for the year anyway.

It all us old fellas that have the single figure handicaps

I think we might have to relegate poor old Golfer69.

Too right Tez...I thought my 9.4 was the last game in single figures but I may have a repreive with 38 points.

CCR was 40 points. Your screwed, goodbye single figures.

No.

Watch the movie Colors with Robert Duval and Sean Penn.
Conversation in which old cop gives the enthusiastic young cop some wise advice.

There's two bulls standing on top of a mountain. The younger one says to the older one: "Hey pop, let's say we run down there and **** one of them cows". The older one says: "No son. Lets walk down and **** 'em all".

Ona
29th May 2004, 01:11 AM
thanks to the vigor of youth the young bull then proceeded to run down the hill and #@!$# all the cows by the time the old fella got to the bottom of the hill (he has bad knees and his ankles arent what they used to be) there was nothing to do but smile to himself and reminisce on good times past :D
