Im interested in these, can you post some pics please? Are these the last of the Miura forged TM's?

peter_rs

No worries, pm your email address. I'll email you the photos i was sent 3 days ago. Club condition hasn't changed.

No, i don't believe these are the Miura forged. Just retail TPs.

Yep. There are alos ones that look like that but are glossy. Apparently the Miura have the satin finish like in that photo.

I got a set of these from prmeier. Just great sticks.

Thinking of moving them though for a set of Pings for durability.

Pete I don't want to start anything but you are asking for what you paid for them which is fair enough and after reading the other thread I can understand why. But you also stated that if full disclosure were forthcoming then that would've affected your decision to buy based on resale value and that the value would be lower based on the buyer being unaware of what nwrnty actually means.

Taking that into account, asking for an amount to cover your costs seems a bit wrong because then the stamping issue becomes someone else's problem when they try to move it on.

I admire you for full disclosure and it is now up to the buyer with all the knowledge before them, to make a decision.

Just my 0.02c worth.

peter_rs
21st July 2008, 09:06 AM
Virgal the possible resale value only becomes a issuse if your a real ho as some of us are.

I feel I can ask for the full amount as the buyer know before hand. If it turns out I cann't move them for the same price then it proves my point.

As I have said else where this is only a stop gap measure as prmeier refused to help me.

Totally agree. THey are still a beautiful iron and at a more than fair price for $315.

I personally wouldn't mind the stamping, but only if I knew about it beforehand.
Good luck with the sale PEte.

Peter put them on ebay. If you get less than $315 then maybe you could ask prmier for the difference. Of course if you sell them for more (after disclosing the "No warranty" stamp in an appropriate manner) then you should give prmier the difference. Deal?

Good idea Jack.

However if he sells them for more, he should split the diffence so that he gets something for all of his mental suffering over the ordeal.

Better yet, take any profits from the sale and arrange a match play for the cash!

I have never used no warranty clubs and if I was to keep them then they need work done, checking swing weight was a side effect I do it with all my gear

I can't see the issue, but accept that plenty of others do.

However, the one thing I will say is that you were incredibly quick to pull the trigger on a sale that resulted in a significant % loss. I guess you would have looked pretty stupid if you had put them on eBay and managed to sell them for a profit?
