Being a Fishman, will the good Dan be making himself available to line the streets of Sydney today to see the Pope?

Being Jewish, I doubt he will.

Spot on - 100% red sea pedestrian. I've also given leave to my team - we're out of here at 2pm.

Don't get me wrong, it would be pretty exciting looking down from 26 floors up (he walks straight past the door) - but getting out of the CBD is going to be a nightmare.

Seems to be the year of saying 'sorry'. Are you sure you dont want to?No, I don't think they will say sorry.... they'll all just pack up and go home when they're done ;)

I think the "annoyance" law could have been reversed instead of dropped though :)

I was in Rome for this thing in 2000 by pure chance. That was the first ad 23rd time I'd been pushed by a nun to race for a train.

I saw the Pope do his weekly address in St Peter;s Square from his study window in 06. It was pretty entertaining, even for an agnostic. He welcomed and sung in about 8 languages and made a few jokes as he went along. Respect, even if his religeon is a sham.

I bet the Pope wouldn't kick his ball out of the rough - God would punish him severely. No leather wedges in the Vatican....

That probably has no effect anymore.

... unless you put $20 in the plate, then you can put your balls wherever you want.

Are you kidding? He'd make a mark on those pretty red shoes he wears.

Speaking of which -

Here's a couple more Dan's who are fishermen (http://www.myoutdoortv.com/). About 6 months ago one bloke on this forum mistook me for one of these guys (and yes, I do know them).

Check out item 1 on the front page - 2 Dans Fishing.

I think you've been hoe'ing into the communion wine a little too much Mark.

I've heard rumours, but I don't dwell on it.

I took a moment to get a photo taken with the procession yesterday - I'm the one in black...

I left at 5pm, Wynyard was dead.... did they get paid for the missing 3 hours ?

We had lunch and beer at Sumalee Thai in Newtown (Bank Hotel), on the boss' card. Of course we were 'on call' - just unable to assist!

Better check what time things happen today... I'm sure there's another pub we can bunker-down in!

no rumour - fact. There is a very good reason why your mob maintained its identity for 1400 odd years of displacement - very strict father to son passed on traditions. History shows that others lose their cultures within 2-3 generations of assimilation.

as you said, 100% Red Sea Pedestrian. That makes you a Kohanim - you get to wear fancy clothes and we all have to give you lots of our money.

In fact you could even front up to the Pope and ask for your job back.
