This person is shipping free worldwide 10 dozen golf balls. No feedback for golf balls, has changed their name several times over the past year or two. Check the Completed Listings, no one has left feedback from them yet ! Will they get their balls ?

One guy I personally know bought some, he raised a dispute with Paypal the next day after I warned him it could be dodgy. We contacted a buyer from 22nd June who is here in Australia. They tried to charge him $400 shipping on his invoice. Needless to say he hasn't paid yet when my mate contacted them he was told "oh, that blokes balls are tied up in customs in Brazil".

Then tonight another mate comes round to pick up a putter.. he says "what can you do on a bulk buy on Pro V1's" I told him the price and he said he just bought some, off the same mob !

He's on his way home now to dispute the transaction !

Sometimes a price is too good to be true !

The real irony here is that the price is still not really that worthwhile if you ask me.

$400+ for 10 dozen from some shady dude with no credibility at all is not really setting the world on fire. My risk-versus-reward meter was off the chart on this one.

You can get 10 dozen pro v1 logo overruns from 3balls for less than that, or better yet, some AAA one-hit-wonders from the usual suspects locally.

Caveat emptor, sure. But buyer don't-be-an-idiot is probably more applicable in this case.

I agree, someone would have been excited though to win 10 doz Tour i's for $314 !

There's only one person making money in the deals though I think !

Similar thing happened to me. I bid/won/paid for 6 dozen balls from a seller in the States. He gave me all the excuses in the world like his daughter getting sick, etc. I fell for the stalling tactics and when I finally went to dispute it (after a handful of unreplied messages), it was too late.

31 sets of Prov1's sold, only 2 feedback.
(29 to go)

how come i search for completed sales and it only goes back a month?

(maybe because of the name change - stolen ebay account i guess)

I'm not sure what happens with that, I have looked at completed's a few times for them, sometimes I get 2 auctions, sometimes I get lots !
