Looking to offload this driver. Already have one, love it, but I certainly don't need two.

Absolutely unused - taken out of the box merely for photos below and then put back in. The driver has never even been out of the plastic wrapping.

Stiff flex Proforce UST V2 shaft (46"). 10.5° of loft.

More details from the Nickent website. (http://www.nickentgolf.com/pr_wo_3dxsq-driver.shtml)

Check out the gallery as well. (="http://www.nickentgolf.com/pr_pop.php?product_code=pr_wo_3dxsq-driver")

Below are the actual pics of the club for sale.

Looking to get close to breaking even on this one if possible. $145 plus postage costs (It actually cost me exactly $145.16, and I can provide the invoice to prove it, but you can keep the $0.16). If you are in the greater Brisbane area I can even arrange to personally drop it to your door the very next day after payment is received. How's that for service!

I think this is a fair price without babbling on about rediculous recommended retail prices in Australia, which we all know means stuff all. I am not really keen to negotiate on that price however, as I have the option to send it back to the supplier, this is simply an easier option for me. I'm not out to make a buck, but I don't really want to lose one either.

Anyway, enough babbling. I will be throwing it on ebay eventually, but thought I would give you guys a crack at it first.

Email henno at silenceisdefeat dot org, or fire me a PM.

Anybody hit one of these? Do they sit square? How's the sound?

I hit the Callaway FTi this past weekend and after the first hit I had a high pitched ringing in my ears that lasted for about 7 or 8 minutes. My mate wanted me to have a few more hits with it and I was actually afraid to. It turned out to be fine after that, but I would never want to experience that again. I haven't had a ringing in my ears like that since my ice hockey days!

The sound is pretty much the same as any of the current square drivers. More of a *tong* than a *ting* and is quite loud.I can't say I have ever had ringing ears, but maybe I don't crush the ball enough to get that sort of sound.

I tend to check my ego at the gate when I go golfing, so I can live with it fine. The only negative feedback I have had from my playing partners is that the sound suggests a longer hit than I am actually capable of :-)

I've got one. Henno's right about the TONG!!!! sound. It's quite loud and distinctive, but I don't really care. It's a driver, for driving golf balls. I wouldn't care if it sounded like a dog throwing up as long as they go where they should. :)

I hit one recently and the guys walking to the previous green said "Gee, you must have hammered that one!". I had to admit that it actually came off the heel and only went about 220m. :)

My feedback from limited use is that it does seem to be fairly forgiving.

The face looks a little bit closed, but I don't know enough about golf clubs to quantify that statement. :)

Thanks for the feedback guys. If it sits remotely closed, I am dead as my misses are left. Hence why my R7 425 has taken a bit of a trip to the closet.

It definitely sits closed. If you are a hooker, this is not the club for you.
