Come on Nudgee we had better get our fingers out and make this happen, the cut off is only a couple of weeks away. I am fairly open as to where and when, have you got any ideas?

29th June 2008, 12:11 PM
well it is all over - tight match with both in the lead at one stage and a close finish with myself the winner 1 up.

Cheers for the game rocket and freddy and gaz

Did you give him two extra shots for home course advantage?

29th June 2008, 02:45 PM
Good point, how many extra shots does Jarro get when playing at Wynnum?

29th June 2008, 03:48 PM
nah I thought giving him 15 shots was good enough - Nudgee is a good venue for matchplay as it doent really "punisg" wayward driving nor does it have tricky greens where local knowledge comes in handy ie Brookwater

29th June 2008, 04:40 PM
Yeh, I was of the same opinion 15 shots is a lot to make up, it was close but I think Nudgee played within himself the whole time, I felt like a half dead mouse being pawed around by a Cat until he decided to finish the job, Thanks to Gaz and Freddy.

29th June 2008, 04:48 PM
Well done anyway Rocket ... to get that close was a pretty good effort.

Yeh we had a ball, it was a good light hearted match.
I now know what Goughy felt like that day I snatched victory from his fingers.
