Just curious to peoples thoughts as i was looking at maybe joining Gailes when my membership at Carbrook ends as its closer to work so i may still get to practice ocasionaly. Only thing is its over 400 bucks a year more. A bit over 1200 a year for a full member. Reason i am asking is i know some clubs have way to many members and you cant always get a tee spot in the Saturday comp and was wondering if anyone here had heard of anything like that at Gailes. If i miss out on Saturday comps i can always play in the Sunday comp there, but then i may as well just be a six day member. Anyway if anyone has any info on this would be muchly appreciated. Cheers.

Jaybam, I'm a member at Gailes and you wouldn't have too much trouble getting a spot in the Sat comp. There's always spots unless it's monthly medal or club champs. Even then you just need to make sure your name is down the week before.
