What a start to the rugby world cup.

Georgia beat Tonga in a fair upset.

And then Japan beats the Springboks! Go the Cherry Blossoms!

If there is one thing I love more than most things it is watching the Saffers lose.

I just watched the replay. Great, great game. Never thought I'd see the Japanese put a 15 man rolling maul on the Saffas for a try!

One of the best pieces of sport I've ever seen. Just sensational. How do you reckon the average Afrikaaner will cope with their beloved team losing to a team called the Cherry Blossoms?!
Cinderella story, out of nowhere, former greenskeeper, now about to become a Masters champion..... It looks like a mirac.. It's in the hole! It's in the hole!

Boks looked uncomfortable throughout the hole game, great win for the Japs.

I'll ask my boss tomorrow morning, if he shows for work ! Might even let him wear my AB's jersey, just to make him feel like a winner for a day

And Wales beats England! If the Wobblies can beat England they will not make the playoff part of their own tournament!

Georgia playing really well against an out of sorts All Blacks. Game result never in doubt but gee the all blacks are playing scrappy.

Sensational by the wallabies. Dominating the English scrum, at twickenham, to knock the poms out of their own tournament gave me a semi.

What a start to a great day of footy!

How is the draw looking for the last 8? Is there any advantage in topping the group for Wales/Australia?

I guess the question is when would you want to play the all blacks? And for Wales is there any way it would be at the Millenium stadium which would be an advantage, as opposed to the final at twickenham?
