    Default Full swing feels

Will a proper full turn swing feel more like a punch shot to those of us who are overswingers (arm overun)?

look razaar-you obviously are conversant with human dynamics, but just my opinion on all this about Bobby Jones,or whoever the great player happens to be.

it is just my humble opinion, but nonetheless i think we have all been going down the wrong path to achieve success with the golf swing.

we seem to over analyse swing characteristics of other great players, and think that this is what we should copy as the winning formula.

look today, i found out something that was pretty exciting for me. sure, all you good golfers take things like this for granted, but it just "opens" up the door just a fraction to let a little ray of sunshine into my dismal golfing life and give me hope so i can keep persevering.

ok,i could try and describe this method, but at this stage i have no idea how to describe it properly.
this sidesteps all the usual mumbo jumbo with swing mechanics.

anyway ,to be fair, i will make sure i am on a winner before i waste everybody"s valuable time again on the forum. the trouble is that this method goes against the grain of what you and most of us have always believed.

anyway-hopefully i can get back to all of you with some real good news, and ironically,it may solve the original query by Adamsgolfer.

It usually only takes me one or two web pages to achieve full feeling and self discovery.

That's the stuff gotitat, keep experimenting and plugging away. Something is sure to surface. Been browsing through Bobby Jones' book on Golf. I had forgotten how well it is written. I also pulled out Ron Rapoport's "The Immortal Bobby", which is an excellent account of his life. Jordan Spieth reminds me of Jones at the same age. I wonder how long before some journalist comes up this comparison? Americans are always comparing somebody with the rich and famous. For some reason my friends over there compare me with Clint Eastwood (as in gran torino). I would get that alot.
Time to pack up and leave the thread to the ho's. It was a mistake to indirectly mention golf shoes. These lads can sense a post only remotely referring to golf gear.
    Kind regards old mate.
Consciousness and awareness - awareness is being aware of what is happening and being aware of what is happening within ourselves while we are conscious. Where did I leave my glasses?

So how wide are Bobby Jones' feet? Do we need to exhume the body?

thanks razaar for all your support and forcing me to think outside the square. i must admit that one of the most ironical twists of fate that has surfaced from all this mayhem on the forum, is that i am now finally in possession of a brand new swing-i was doing something so "bad" in the setup, but for some reason it still felt totally comfortable to me.
the best part is that i always thought that good golfers were blessed at birth due to their anatomy, etc. not to be thank goodness as i have proved it otherwise.

anyway, i will not disclose this, just as a sign of respect to you, as with your disgruntled departure,it implies that you would wish i kept it secret.
    you can count on me.

    thanks razaar

not if you have any interest in it old mate-i would most probably be "shafted". then again,i suppose you need every bit of dough, any way you can get it . golf lessons are expensive these days, i presume, and having an embarrassing name tag does not help the individual's ego.
