4 man ambrose at New Brighton with Steve, Golfwhang and GuyIncognito.

I think we were -8 off the stick. My personal contribution was decent...hit some decent approaches and sunk a few putts.

Chowed down a few steak and sausage sangas along the way...pretty good morning all up despite the on off drizzle.

The winners had 57 off the stick and net 52.something!

But it was the most enjoyable round I've had on the course for quite a while. Thanks guys!

Played in the Coral Cove Saturday comp with Shane788.

An early start from casa_de_benno with a QLD chilly 8degrees, made it top Coral Cove with some great weather on its way.

Off to a steady start with Bogey / Par. Shane started well for his claim of no golf in a month for Birdie / Par.

Lots of decent drives with the Nike / Kiyoshi combo, and the RBZ Tour irons performed well. Putting was OK, and the course was in fantastic condition.

    Highlights of the day:
Playing partner "Reload" Ron playing an irons only bag and stinking up his irons for most of the day
Reload Ron putting his 2nd on the 11th in to the backyard of a big arse dog
Reload Ron getting as close as I have seen anyone to helicoptoring without any helicopters
Shane for being the worlds best right handed Bubba Watson impersonator
Shane closing out the round in style, beating DaveMason's pin shot on 16th, Birdie 17th, Birdie 18th

No stats today, but 36pts (8 for me, and 32pts (75) for Shane, who managed a leisurely 5 birds for the day.

Kingston SE Stroke round, 86 for nett 75 OB and a penalty for a drop on 18th hole "bugga". Happy enough with some poor putting the game was fun in the sun.

A new low handicap is always a good excuse to have a few beers. Well done, Shorty!

    Default Week Commencing 25th August

    I had 26 points yesterday.

Don't think much more needs to be said. Surprisingly I enjoyed the day, but it'd be fair to say I'm completely floggin sick of playing like crap. Honestly can't understand how my handicap has stayed in A grade.
