OWGR needs to change its name to PGAAWGR, as in PGA Affiliated World Golf Rankings, rather than Official.

None of the majors are run by the PGA Tour, so they can all invite whomever they want. That's why the tour is so keen on promoting The Players and the FedEx Cup, and why on LIV golfers were "banned" from any of the majors. Surely the R&A, USGA, and PGA of America all want the strongest fields for their "signature" events? How long do they stick to using OWGR as it becomes less and less accurate?
Or kill off OWGR and just use the data golf rankings.
Cinderella story, out of nowhere, former greenskeeper, now about to become a Masters champion..... It looks like a mirac.. It's in the hole! It's in the hole!
I noticed the new logo on Mickleson’s shirt last night and assume the PIF settled the trademark case.
Wonder how much that cost them.
As expected. Carry on.
Patrick Reed's shoes today..
Bwhahaha.
Either he's getting ready for Mardi Gras or his part time circus job.
I was going to become a troll on the LIV facebook page, but it didn't appear in my feed today. A golden opportunity has gone begging.
By my calculations, there were 12 LIV golfers in The Masters. Of the 12, three made top 10 in Adelaide (no winner), five made top 20, and eight made top 30.
The obvious conclusion is that LIV golfers, if they were serious about LIV, and particularly the team event, should not play the Masters. They should be spending their time preparing for LIV events.
I'd imagine, judging by the quality of debate on the LIV facebook page, that half of them would agree, a quarter would explode because they are conflicted about the logic, and about 10% would actually say this was a good result and shows how great LIV is. Also, all of them will say the result proves that Brendan Steele is clearly the number 1 golfer in the world right now, and MUST be invited to all the majors.
One thing none of them would say is that the low scores are proof that the golf ball rollback needs to be brought in as soon as possible.

Players should concentrating on any other game other than playing in the Masters is laughable.
I saw it as the opposite for the 12, with 4 LIV golfers made the top 15, 4 more made the cut and 4 missed the cut.
As percentages, over 25% of the top 15 places at the Masters were LIV golfers, with only 11% of the next 45 places (and 14% missed cut) were filled by LIV golfers.
With that top heavy result from a small representation, it is no wonder the illuminati severely restricted the number of LIV golfers competing.
p.s. And Wyndham Clark proved why the US Open champ should not get an automatic invite to the Masters.
You don't get me. I'm part of the Union.
Thanks for that astute analysis, Jim. I’m looking forward to you reviewing this weeks PGA tour tourney along similar lines. What a stacked leaderboard they have! Particularly interested in your thoughts about the guy in that field whose last Masters appearance was in 1994.

Great finish at the LIV. The team score made it more interesting.
I wonder if Cam Smith began to have regrets about choosing himself.
The crowd love for the Seth Effrikans was also something different.

How did the rest of the top 10 look? With a gun to my head I couldn’t pick any of them out of a lineup, other than the fake golf course developer. Plenty of household names in the LIV top 10. Agree Brendan Steele isn’t one of them. Although he’d fit right in on the PGA tour winners list this year alongside Jaeger, Malnati, Bhatia, Garnett, Eckroat, Knapp, Taylor, Pavon, Murray, Kirk etc. Just a brutal run.

Can't say I watched a minute of New Orleans, and only saw LIV for about 5 minutes across the 3 days. I cant stand the music, but reckon Adelaide would be the best pissup sporting event short of Bathurst or a major horse racing carnival, where the sporting event is the excuse for getting on the beers.
We can all agree that Ne Orleans is anything but a showcase event for the PGA Tour - the start of a couple of weeks off for the big boys before the Wells Fargo and PGA, and a chance for lesser lights to have a crack and make a name for themselves if they are good enough.

You can't stop the music. Nobody can stop the music.
It seems the sarcasm monitor of some readers is mulfunctioning. Perhaps you really should dive into the LIV Fans Facebook page and its total misunderstanding of what golf is, and should be, about. Most of them are PGA haters anyway, not LIV fans.
