doesnt look any different to the driving irons that have been around for 20 odd years, except that this ugly thing has much more loft.

My only thinking is it is a collectors item, which means the buyer would be if they ever did bring them out.

They've been talking about this club on bombsquad for ages now. Tour release only, very few ever come up for sale and it's never been a retail release.

    I'd still buy a hogan.

Then again, I make enough in a day (if I'm lucky) to almost afford a cheaper hybrid club. My best mates a lawer and makes enough a day to buy one of those titliest hybrids. If all it took was one days work what would you care.

    Default Big Wallet Small Brain

The clown that paid 730 USD for the 503 will feel like a right royal KNOB when he sees the Titleist site advertising these babies with the same Hybrid 85X NV Shaft for a MSRP of $225 USD and to be released in October!!!! A few shops in US already carry them. I know coz a friend of mine bought me one in the states for $175 USD - she is back in first week in October!!

Some people have too much money and others have girlfriends with too much money, hey Iain

The first auction is Titleist's new hybrid/utility iron that they have just released. It can be seen on their website here. Why someone would pay way over the RRP is beyond me.

As far as the second auction is concerned, maybe he got confused by the "putters" in the title. Perhaps he thought he was getting some putters with that headcover. Otherwise, I once again, cannot believe people would be so stupid to pay way over the RRP.

    Kind regards,

    Ben (Ducky).
