    FFS.

    Don't bloody build there.

Now the golf course has to change to accommodate them. What a joke.

Had a similar situation at Wentworth Golf Club at Orange when a resident adjacent to a short par 3 built a glass house at the back of his house and wondered why the glass panes were getting broken !!!!
Its not rocket science people, you have the luxury of a fantastic view if you back on to a golf course but you need to realise that you will get the occasional golf ball coming your way.....
Do people that build under a flight path expect the airports to move for them?????? exactly the same thing

Yep. And they expect noise to be 'shared', even though they got their land cheaper than others as it was under a flight path. Wankers.

The golf course is legally obligated to keep the golf balls within its boundaries. This precedent already ruled on by the courts. It makes no difference who was there first. Lack of foresight by the club in the first place to build holes too close to property boundaries on the assumption that the cows would never object.

Its next to the RAAF Base. The land was only opened up to development in the last ten years. The course has been there for 30+.

Shame, its about the only good hole on the course.

17 - par 5 that runs around the back and around the corner. Takes three good shots to hit the green.

Golf is, in part, a game; but only in part. It is also in part a religion, a fever, a vice, a mirage, a frenzy, a fear, an abscess, a joy, a thrill, a pest, a disease, an uplift, a brooding, a melancholy, a dream of yesterday and a hope for tomorrow. - New York Tribune, 1916.

I rode by this on my ride this morning aa a policeman was holding the baby. So glad he is ok and I feel for his parents who felt that whatever their circumstance that this was their only option.

Phil Hughes has passed away. Hard to imagine someone getting killed in a cricket game.

Just switched on the tv to watch deal or no deal and there is a hostage situation in Sydney. Apparently 1 bloke is holding 30 people hostage the police don't know if he has explosives hopefully everyone gets out of this.
