Mick Fanning fights off shark. F me. Hearing of too many of these now days. Doesn't make me want to blubber around in the water in a black wetsuit with 1500 people, that's for sure.

Who would have thought that he would be "stoked" to escape?

Saw some video footage of this today on a news break. Fin appears right along side him more than once.
He's very lucky not to have a big piece missing or worse.

Fanning jumps in the back of a Van at the aeroplane station, the photographers smother the van getting snaps.

Braveheart totally ignored, left waiting for the happy snappers to finish to get in the van.

That shark will probably starve to death now.

Where's Bindi, Bob and the sea Shepard now?

Would it have been news if it was a no names son?

I heard the report of the accident early this morning. I gather the press didn't realise who he was at that time. Stolen car allegedly, and high speed crash was always going to be reported.
