Default 2024 - How many different courses have you played this year?

    1. Wolston Park (home)
    2. Skye Public Golf Course (9 holes)*
    3. Moonah Links Legends
    4. Peninsula Kingswood North*
    5. Peninsula Kingswood South*
    6. Kingston Heath The Furrows (9 hole par 3)*
    7. Kingston Heath*
    8. Laidley
    9. Minnippi*
    10. McLeod
    11. KDV Sport Par 3*
    12. Tally Valley*
    13. Oxley

Had a day off last Thursday, and thought I would treat myself to a couple of new courses. They were not a treat.

The KDV Sport Par 3, which is where the Carrara Gardens course used to be, was more like a 9 hole pitch 'n putt with one at about 120m, a couple around 100m, and a bunch 70m or less. Nice enough greens if they weren't completely pocked with pitch marks.

100m under a tree. Easy 8 iron pitch shot.

Tally Valley was next for 9 holes. Small greens, silly doglegs. I didn't like it, unlike its neighbour, Tallebudgera.

I didn't quite make it past the corner of this 247m dog leg which leaves a 50m pitch in.

Absolutely. I’ll always love Royal North.
Cinderella story, out of nowhere, former greenskeeper, now about to become a Masters champion..... It looks like a mirac.. It's in the hole! It's in the hole!

Always a nice course to play, if only for the greens that play different to anything in Brisbane. Despite playing the course near 20 times, when I reflect on rounds, I can never remember which hole is which of those par 4s that run next to each other.

They had 300mm of rain this month, yet the course was mint. Not a lot of run but their open is an event I really enjoy supporting.

Some of the biggest greens in the country

Now there is an eclectic mix. On target to play the least golf in a calendar year ever.
