The country is running on the disposable income we are disposing of when not working.

I'm not contributing any income from golf winnings though.

Last game of the year today, and there is no need for a last minute adjustment to next year's golfing goals. A dull 33 points for me today, with no real highlights. Unless you count a finish of 14 two-pointers in a row after a bad start to be three down after 4 holes. Bad driving and bad putting, so a bad score.

Usual suspects in the bag. M2 went back in after gaming the M1 in a social hit with the old man and brother on Wednesday. Fair to say after losing ball on the first and wiping I had a solid day outPlayed the par 3s as well as I've played anyThink the greens were slower then usual by all reports, to be expected after the deluge Melbourne copped yesterday. Either way I had a ball on a good course with good company.

Another 39 today in the rain and slush. DSR will be high, so could be another big drop.

    23 points today, not good.
Was stinking hot and the only thing that worked was the new M2 driver.
It is an absolute bomber, a 280m drive on our longest hole is testament to that.
Playing in the morning does not agree with me I think!

Well, that was interesting! First game since the Leon day, probably 7 or 8 months I guess. I wanted to get one in to see how I went walking and how my knee held up, to see what I'm doing with my membership next year.

Had 33pts which kinda shocked me, with plenty of bad stuff in there. A neat 18 over with 6 doubles or worse. Short game was pretty ordinary which is what I expected. Knee wasn't maybe as good as I hoped. I don't know if the swing is bothering it much, being my right knee. But the walk had it pretty sore by my 10th hole. I certainly wouldn't want to be doing our back nine second atm. I also borrowed a buggy from the club, so my first time walking without carrying in like 14 odd years. I wouldn't have been able to carry for round.

So, where do I sit? Should I renew and take my chances that things are going to improve. Or should I suspend my membership for a while and wait till my knee improves. Who knows if it's gonna much. I'm not really sure what I want to do. I do know if I keep playing I'm gonna have to get a buggy. The pro said afterwards that the club buggies are like pulling a tank compared to the new 3 wheeled things. But more money more money!
