Default Best seat position for soccer?

Gonna take Kyan to some Brissie Roar games at Suncorp. What's the best sort of position to sit to get the best overall view of the game? Maybe taking into account Kyan's a keeper so might want to see them at work? Generally middle of the field?

    Goughy,

My young bloke is a keeper too, ask him where he wants to sit because as the boys say, the best place to watch is on the couch.

Going for the fun and atmosphere, high enough to see everything so pretty much like you would for league, somewhere near half way.

Sitting near the keeper would be ok if the defence was shit, but what do you do at halftime? Plus, not sure how nice some keepers are to their defence, so the further away the better

We've got seats in bay 340. Western grandstand on about the 20 yard box. We've watched a grand final from this spot and it was great.

The "Den" is bays 331-333 down the Caxton street end behind the goals. This is where all the chanting comes from. I have friends from work who have seats towards the back rows of 330. Just to the side of the den.

You really can't get a bad seat.

The away supporters are usually down the Milton street end.

Either on the half way line a few rows back (so similar to your view on TV), or behind the goal - far enough back in rows so that it doesn't block your view.

Suncorp is a decent ground tho, so you'll get a pretty good view from most parts of it

Kids like to be on the fence too though, even if you can't see properly it sometimes isn't the point
