Hi All,
New boy on the block:
In regards to Black Bull its a very different course off the back blocks compared to the Visitors tee.
In 12 months time it will be in the top 3 along the Murray stretch imho
Corowa No 1
Cobram Barooga West 2
Black Bull 3

Interested in others thoughts about the Murray group
Murray Downs,
Barham
Cohuna
Rich River * 2
Tocumwal
Howlong
Yarrawonga Murray
Yarrawonga Red/Gold

I prefer either of the Toke courses to CB west. Partly because they are nearly always in better condition, especially the greens.

My only qualm with Toc is it is ALWAYS bloody windy

1mph wind in Cobram or Yarrawonga and Toc has 40mph gusts

I was lucky enough to recently play 5 courses down there, this is how i would rank them:

1. Murray downs
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
2. Corowa Old
3. Yarrawonga Lakes
4. Black Bull
5. Yarrawonga Murray

Black bull might have been 3rd if the condition was better when we played.

Murray Downs is just a pure course, and having played a lot of course in NSW, is up there with the best.

I've played all multiple times except Howlong and Rich River West in that list.
Only 3 of them recently, the rest in the last 15yrs.

I'll have a crack at putting them in some sort of rating order later as I may just have a look through some old pics I have on computer to stimulate the memory juices.

Murray Downs will be clearly #1 though.

Surprised so many rate Murray Downs so highly - to me its a resort style boring track
