Just need to divide the cost by the number of people in the room, a single cost is $125.00 per night. A twin is $70.00 per night per person. A Family room with 3 people is $51.66 per night per person and a Family Room with 4 people is $42.50 per night per person. All bookings (and the rates quoted) include breakfast. There are no reductions for not having breakfast.

I have also booked a conference room for Thursday, Friday & Saturday night. So get your leave forms in and your name down here. Lefty is still treasurer so the Bank Details are the same as last year for your payments.

I find a lot of them through the Now Tapped app, where bars can list their current tap lists. The Nearby Venues / Beers function could be used on Untappd too. And the CraftyPint website.

I was in Young and Jacksons last week with some mates - I offered to buy a round and a mate said "get me any beer" so I bought a round of Miss Pinky raspberry beer. He was not impressed.

They did have a large list of beers on tap that I know nothing about though, and they're not too busy during the week. I wouldn't go there on a Friday though.

In all our Vic Champs, I reckon I have been to one pub - the craft beer place on Pavement Pizza night.

    Have we been to others?

    Random beer generator.

A bloke at NSW champs who will remain nameless (for the sake of this post let's just say he's a tool) only ever asked for a "beer" in a shout and was only a round or two from refusing to take orders any more detailed than that.

    That was The Local Taphouse.
Some of us went to Young & Jackson after dinner to continue celebrating my champs victory. I believe beer number 500 happened that night too.

    Too put it into context

One guy fell off his chair in a hurry to get a bet on some walker, one was going on about buses and the other was busy showing me pics of his severed **** !!

At that stage of the night i didnt think it would matter what beer you got

See what fun you may miss out on if you dont do one of these trips !!!!

I remember that night well, mostly because we spent more time waiting for that flipping taxi than we did in any pub.

It wasn't after Chinatown. It was after a sit down meal at a steak restaurant within walking distance north of the hotel. I took the trophy out with me.

No problem. I'll see if I can elaborate a bit more in the beer thread (to avoid upsetting the Mid drinkers), rather than spitting out a list, like I have done.

It's possible that I may even be in Melbourne at the same time, but I don't know how much I will be required there over the coming months yet.

Thanks AP, will be late Dec-early Jan which is no doubt a non working time, but might be over again a bit more in the new year.

Unbelieveable! My transition from Czech Republic back to Australia has been moved back to 15 Feb 2017 so I will not be able to attend the Vic Champs!
