(Let's try this again!), 82/73 (for 35 points), in the mid-week MM round at NH today. Started off great (par, birdie, par) but snap hook (one of two for the day), off the tee on the 4th lead to a litany of errors (and a dent in my 6 iron), totaling 10 strokes after I thought I could hit it away from the boundary fence.
Did my best to fight back but a lost ball on the par 5 16th ended all hope and all that was left was to limp to the finish.
Also, waiting on my replacement putter so was putting with a blade for the first time in a couple of months and it didn't help so a few unwelcome 3 jiggles added to a frustrating day.
Positives to take out of today:
a) my irons are starting to come back.
b) whilst no less devastating, snap hooks are better than block cuts
