OzGolf 2016 Eclectic

It looks like having a thread seems to take a hiatus in each year ending an odd number, but I was just updating my spreadsheet for 2015 (I finished with -3 which I was quite happy with given the awfulness of most of my golf in 2015) and figured I'd try to start one for 2016

The 2014 thread is here in case you want some context and it also has links to Courty's spreadsheets (although they need updating for 2016). Most of the rest of this post is copy and pasted from that thread!

For those unfamiliar, an eclectic score is your best gross score on each hole of your course over a given period of time.

The 2016 Eclectic runs from 1 January 2016 to 31 December 2016.

Scores from any official club competition round (stroke, par, stableford) are permitted (no social rounds).

To enter, you need to post the following after your first round:

- Course
- Pars of each hole
- Your gross scores for those holes

As you play rounds during the year and improve on those gross scores, you need to post your improvements.

At the end of the year we can have a winner, but I also found it interesting to track which are my best/worst holes (which wasn't the ones I thought)

Tees are slightly forward at the moment because they're doing some work on the tee box. Hooked a drive that was about six inches away from the drain on the left. Ended up on a path, dropped into the rough with a sidehill lie and ~130m to a back left pin. Hit a nice PW that took one bounce and hit the pin. I heard it hit the pin but couldn't see if it went in or not and no-one else in my group saw it go in. Walk up, find it in the hole.This weeks effort was another hole out from about 80m to a tough back pin on 12. Golf hey....

I've only done it for the first round I played and it is +21. When I get chance to update it, that will improve slightly, but not by much as I've only played 3 rounds there this year so far

Edit: Just updated it - I'm down to +11

Waz, may want to check some of the hole lengths you have listed.

It's clear in mine that I need to get off to better starts in the round. 4 rounds in and I haven't parred the fist 2.
Each one has been hit in reg once too ��.
