Just shows you don't need to hit the ball a mile and have a text book swing. Well done Jim (Mr 5.

Good win by Russell Knox. He's been playing well this year. 4th in FedEx Cup I think. The only multiple winner this year that isn't one of the big guns, so to speak. His winning celebration was the best I've seen for ages too. The hat throw was epic!
Josh Broadaway is playing the Wyndham and getting a bit of coverage. Have a look if you wonder what Mint's swing looks like! I played with this swing style when I first started playing golf near 40 years ago.
Being the last event of the regular season, this is also one of the strangest to watch, because much of the focus is on the Fedex Cup standings and moneylist standings and various other targets.
I read that a few of the top players are in the event to solidify their eligibility for the Ryder Cup. If so, Jimmy Walker seems to have wasted his time already.

Following on from Ash's WITB thread and his Scotty Cameron, Cam Percy is 5 under through the first 6 holes in rd 2

Was watching a bit of the Wyndham today and heard Trevor Immelmann commentating. I think he was one of the on course commentators. Really is the beginning of the end when you start a career in commentary. Does anyone know if he's been having more injury issues or does he just a suck now? Wonder if he'll keep playing The Masters if he's not actually playing for pay?
I see Matt Jones missed the cut and now missed the Fedex Playoffs. He dropped from 124 to 126.
Once you go yellow, you will never go back
Was it this tournament where he collapsed and ended up on a drip?

I love these sorts of lists, partly to see the 'fall from grace' stories of guys who used to be good players, like the previously mentioned T Immelman and our man Robbie.
At least Matt Jones still has his card after his win last year, as does Bowdo.
The story isn't so good for Apples or Geoff Ogilvy or the Camerons (Smith and Percy).
The saddest one is Ernie. Even though he didn't collapse completely after the Masters, he didn't really bounce back, either.

Ernie had a chance to win at the Quicken Loans at Congressional this year too. That would have been his 20th PGA Tour win which means life membership too!
Did Ogilvy win the Barracuda last year or the year before?
Personally I think a few should head to the Euro tour, I know there are family and money and career opportunities could be better but I think more chances for them to make the cuts.

Ogilvy won last year, I'm fairly sure. Greg Chalmers won it this year.

So Ogilvy hasn't one more year. Damn

He isn't going to win but what about Day's putt for bird on 15...shame he followed it with a 3 putt on 16
No, No, No. Not Reed
Once you go yellow, you will never go back
He's definetly a top 5 player, always has been.
Can't believe he's now 1 in the Fedex Cup.

That's how every other sport with a finals system works
Aren't the points that heavily loaded on the last event that the first couple don't matter to much as long as they don't totally crash and burn though?
