Wow. How's that for a game?

Wallabies a very poor effort but probably a lot of that was due to Scotland pressure. Gee they were good and pounced on every opportunity.

Oh and gee I hope Pocock's back next week. His absence was very noticeable.

Was a ball of nerves after the match last night, even trying to sleep i struggled. Think Aus played well, cant believe the pressure from Scotland. All the northern hemisphere is complaining that the last penalty should not of been awarded, but they quick to forget what should of been a try at the end of the first half, where the ref said it was a knock fron Guinia, ball didn't touch him, that would of been a try under the posts, and taken alot of pressure off the boys after the first half. Fardy was a legend,

What worries me was watching Argentina, am stressing the final will be Argintina vs NZ.

Who do you want to rest this week? Let's go Foley and Moore.

Based on that, NZ should be $1.01 favourites.

It wasn't our best performance. Scrum was well beaten and our defence was like swiss cheese at times, though we covered and applied enough pressure when it counted to force mistakes and keep them out.

Definitely we need a much better performance than that if we're to have any hope of beating the All Blacks. I was honestly expecting us to lose that game until Drew Mitchell managed to set up the sealer.

Finally the two best sides meet in the final. First time in years I've been worried about the wallabies....

I thought the performance was ok. Argies played very well, at least after the first 20 min. Barnes' interpretation of the breakdown didn't do us any favours, letting the man on the ground get away with plenty. Pocock did incredibly to get as many turnovers as he did in the circumstances. Barnes also picked favourites in the scrum and the Argies were clever enough to exploit that.

2 very deserving finalists. If the ABs play like they did against the Saffas we're in with a huge chance. If they play like they did against the frogs, we're no chance.

Can't wait for the game. About time we played them in a final.

I think it will be closer than we think.
Our defence has been superb, and the AB's had a very tough game against the Saffa's

Gotta be in it to win it and there's more pressure on the AB's than us.

The ABs should have enough across the park to win and win well, but beware! The mighty choke is always near..

If Foley takes the line on and and starts making the inside backs for the ABs get more compact in their defensive line, it will give Folau room to move out wide. If he gets caught to deep and is unable to get the backs across the advantage line at the point of contact, The Wallabies will struggle To maintain dominance at the breakdown.

Guess not. ABs too good. Good game plan, well executed. Thought the choke might be on when there was only 4 points in it with 15 to go, but carter icing that long range drop goal seemed to end that. They seemed to get virtually all of the 50/50 calls, but I doubt it made much difference in the end.

NZ & Aus both ended up with a win & a runner up in 2 world cups this year. Not a bad return. Made even better by the poms getting knocked out in the group stages in both.

    Still shell shocked maybe.

Well done All Blacks - they were too good in the end. The damage was done in the first half, was pleased we showed some fight in the second but it was always going to be tough to come back.

There's not much to say, the expected result from a fantastic team. Great calls by the coach....subbing on SBW, almost an instant result. Carter was outstanding, his goaling kicking made the difference, at the right times.

No choke from the AB's so the result really never in any great doubt. They do the simple tasks of rugby better than us.

ABs too good. Carter amazing given his mini form slump coming into the comp. a great way for the best ever to finish. Richie take a bow legend.

Have to agree that the Wallabies got the raw end of the deal in the first half with some of the knock on decisions and for a while there I thought the forward pass to skudder was only four to five metres forward. I think the result will benefit Australia ,( as I'm not allowed to say Wallabies). They have a good side and will probably go o to the next World Cup as favourites, if they can keep this group of young guys together. Roll on Japan...

    Enjoy Kiwi, thoroughly deserved.
We just didn't hold the ball at crucial times, cost us big time.
I'm not a big SBW fan after he walked out on the Dogs all those years ago but if you want to see something amazing google what he did after the game....humility.
