Yeah, NH Scramble already booked here... not inviting anyone - much nicer venues to be had in the list above! lol!

Lady Bay HS interests me if you're keen. That course suits my game.

August is a good time for me where stuff calms down a bit at work.

I think the only ones that would interest me are courses I've not played before. Of those, taking out those on dates I can't do, or those that are too far away to justify for a HS leaves North Haven and Flagstaff Hill for me

North Haven is a shit hole, Flagstaff is great but get some practise in specifically on ball below and above your feet

Well we do have free drops out of the shit (and preferred lies everywhere..), at NH but yeah, I'd agree with talbo, no comparison.

I'd be in for Lady Bay, Flagstaff and of course the Vines.

Just received an email from the Holden Scramble people about online entries. Checked the website and none of the above listed can be booked online but apparently the bookings are now open.
Also noticed that The Vines was not listed. Maybe it has been moved back cause last year I remember it was held only about a week or two before the state final.

Well, we had our 'Holden' Scramble at NH on the weekend. I think it might turn out to be the only one in the state that wasn't actually sponsored by Holden! It only went ahead because our local sponsors got together. Shame, Holden!

Anyways, usual crap round for me, drove relatively well but all but one approach shot, chip and putt went to plan. I was well and truly showed up by our highest handicapper who got us out of the shit numerous times. Well done Max!!

I thought it was the local Holden Dealer that sponsored the games? Not so much Holden itself.
Was yours affected when Smiths changed to Kittle?
I could be way off base?

Yep, exactly. Kittle didn't want anything to do with it but I thought that Holden might have stepped in an done at least something - especially seeing they're ceasing manufacturing locally in a couple of years.

    Hey Guys,
Some of the Scrambles that people are intersted in are now only 4 -5 weeks away. I can go to Flagstaff, Lady bay and Vines to get entry forms soon.
Just need the details that usually go on the forms. I can pay when I hand the forms back if that's the way you guys want to go?
Or we can just try and get time slots and fill all of the forms out on the day.

LLB and the Vines fall on a Sunday so I'm available for either of those. Happy for any of the longer standing members to get first dibs on either day.. Maybe we get enough interest for a couple of groups?

And, we've got Blackwood on 26 July so Tanunda is out.

Started a new thread with a list to keep it easier for looking up numbers. Cheers
