Lefty is here for the duration and we'll be doing another tour of the regions 'finest' courses. Feel free to put your hand up for any and all of the rounds*.

*The City of Cairns events require entry forms to be submitted. I'll do my best to get us all grouped together where possible, but there are no guarantees.

Big congrats to my cart buddy Haysey...B Grade net champion at the CoC which in essence means he took less CoC than the rest of us, I will take a large part in his victory as it was I who showed him what not to do, places to not go and provided the calming influence, well done big fella!!!!

3 days of CoC just ain't enough. Congrats to Jared for his long drive wins and the prize he picked up on the first day. Let us know where you're thinking of staying next year and we can let you know if it's dodgy or not.

Final tallies for this years CoC;
12th - square
14th - +4
17th - +2

Seems I have a definite nemesis hole.

Although 13 crept in there with +4 also. Longest 3rd shot I had in over all 4 days was 108m. 13 can definitely take 12's place.

This one can be scrubbed now. No pars in 10 attempts. Was even no pars in 11 attempts, but I did birdie it on the 11th go, and finally parred on the 13th try. Halle-****ing-lujah!!!

Apologies Al. When I sledged Solarman I didn't realiise that you may not be familiar with the animated tv character 'Big Gay Al' from the show South Park. Some of the poses that Solarman has struck bear more than a passing resemblance. Check out Haysey's user pic on Gamebook and you will see what I mean.

Yeah the new 13th green makes it an absolute PR1CK of a thing. You would of hacked the green to death if you had seen the pin on Saturday. Probably the least fair pin placement i've seen on any hole anywhere including watching on TV.

I saw someone putt from off the green to get to <2 ft from the hole only to have the ball travel back down past their original lie.
