    Damn, where'd it go?

    It was any interesting question posted. I find the 8th at HB the right size for the hole, because it's an easy short par 4. Don't suppose I had ever thought of a bigger green for a variety of pin locations. HB 8th only has 2 spots I have ever seen.

    Isn't 8 at HB a par 3?
    I think you are thinking of 7 the little Par 4 down the hill with the pitch over the lake to an elevated green that doesn't hold - ever!

    BTW the thread has moved to TGZ.

    Nah, that's the 16th. 8 is a dog leg left around a big dead gum. Normally hybrid wedge.

    16th is a prick of a green though.

    16th green is ok for a hole that plays pretty short.
