    Default Hello All

Just a quick hello to everyone. Stumbled over here from another Golf forum and really liking it just as much. I've been playing for 6 years now, no HCP, just a social weekend player (and when I have a sick day from work lol).

I'm 30 with a wife and 2 son's (5 and 3) who also love playing, they each have their own junior Nike bags & clubs.

I live, breath and eat golf, just can't get enough of it no matter how much I play almost to a point where I'm thinking about leaving my chosen career to pursue another career in Golf.

My home course is Woodville in Guildford NSW I also frequent Rosnay at Auburn and sometimes Liverpool NSW & Foxhills

My Gear is made up of:
    Titleist - 910D2 12degree stock Bassarra R flex
    Taylormade - Burner Plus Fairway
    Taylormade - Rocketbladez Irons 4-pw
    Vokey SM5's - 50, 54 & 58 deg wedges
    Nike Everclear E11 putter.

The TM stuff is slowly being pushed out, this year I shall replace the Rocketbladez with Ap1 or Ap2's & the Fairway with the new Titty 915

My Fav player is "The most interesting man in Golf".

    Cheers..

    Welcome aboard.

And get yourself a handicap, as it doubles the fun.

    Welcome aboard mate.

No need the change from Rocketbladez to Titty's, as the titty are no better, its more in the shaft (no homo). I've gone from AP2's to Rocketblade tours.

I used to play a lot a Woodville when I was starting out. Good starting point, but join a club with a good junior program so your boys gets the right coaching etc. Also you should get a handicap and yes definitely join us for game soon.

    Nice bag by the way.

Thanks for that Yeah I really want to start coming to these forum events once I fine tune my game though, so I don't embarrass myself with the odd shank I have a habit of performing..lol Actually it's not that bad I did shoot 85 at one of my local courses 2 weeks ago (Rosnay), I was wrapped about that one. I average in the high 80's and low 90's.

Thanks Mate a fellow ISG member heeheh...I just don't feel it with the Rocketbladez anymore. My shots are ok but very random on occasions. I also have a few Mizuno's in mind, need to get a proper fitting done. Woodville is a great course, I love it. I feel so comfortable there and no crowds either. The boys will be starting a clinic soon, my 3 year old has developed a really good swing on his own, hopefully he can go places so I don't have to work anymore hahah...

    Welcome to the forum.

Golf is, in part, a game; but only in part. It is also in part a religion, a fever, a vice, a mirage, a frenzy, a fear, an abscess, a joy, a thrill, a pest, a disease, an uplift, a brooding, a melancholy, a dream of yesterday and a hope for tomorrow. - New York Tribune, 1916.

Welcome Kaniss. Is your wife short or very young? I'm wondering why she is using junior golf clubs.
