Can anybody tell me what kind of condition Lynwood is in at the moment with the changes etc? May go out there for a round on Sunday coming, but if it's still a work in progress I'll wait a while longer. Cheers Gents.

The new holes are open but there are still patches of turf on fairways etc that are not fully bedded in. It is still boggy in some places as with the constant rain each week it hasn't had enough time to dry out. Greens for the most part are good with a couple of bumpy spots.

nope and not likely to, possibly may regret it later if Castle Hill put in the hard yards over the next few years and do it up but I guess I can rejoin if that is the case.

I still haven't worked out where I would go either most likely Dunheved at this stage.

Played Dunheved for the second time last Friday arvo. Really enjoy the layout. Such a good course - you wouldn't expect that when driving through the industrial park to get there!

    Gents,

Anyone played Lynwood of late and can detail its current condition - particularly in relation to the course changes going on there? My Wife is letting me play Sunday due it being Fathers Day and I may head to Lynwood. Thanks in advance, FJ.

Played a couple of weeks ago before I let my membership lapse and the changes were bedding in nicely - still some turf that is not 100% in some places but the green and remaining areas are fine. Overall the course is still a long way from where it was 18+ months ago but is slowly getting there, the coming summer will certainly help grow the grass back in areas that were hammered over winter.

Let me know what you end up looking to do as I may have been given the green light for a round as well...although not sure I would be planning on playing Lynwood
