90/75 today in the M/M, not too bad really, thought/felt it was going much worse than that! (though Mr S. Cameron did step in a couple of times with saves)

Well I think you've proven the hook is a swing thing, that's three sets of irons you've used in three rounds now and all have had the same result! Back to the drawing board as they say.

Had 9 holes with my son this arvo - 1 over for the nine and missed an ace on the 7th - stopped 2 inches from the hole - just as well, it wouldn't count as not in comp

27 points around The Grand on Saturday.. Started sweet with 2 pars for 5 points through 2 holes and then managed only 4 points in the next 7 holes. Made the turn and started par , birdie after hitting 3w , 3w to about 8 feet on the par 5 11th.. ( highlight of the day for sure but missed the eagle putt). finished the back 9 with 18 points to beat the previous best of 23 pts.
I hit nothing but 3w off the tee on the back 9 and seemed to change my game around a lot for the better, A huge thanks to Looney again for hosting me and a couple of mates from my club on such a beautiful course again. Was good to meet Oz in the pro shop and he even showed us a bit of the memorabilia in the clubhouse with some descriptions.
I'm sure I will get out there again , hopefully in the winter season when the greens are stupid quick and try get past that elusive 30 point mark.

How dare you suggest it might not be the clubs. It's always the clubs

The irony is I was worst with the GI irons. Definitely the swing tho. Need to sort myself out before Grange next week!

Because the course isnt challenging me enough already haha! Some of those tees downright scare me but I will be keen! I blew out to 10.9 after the weekends round.
From playing off 8.0 about 2 months ago to 10.9 bring on B grade..
