34 points (18/16) - hit it pitiful, scrambled okay, putted pretty good for me - third 34 in a row - my handicap has slipped out a few points and one shot due to low DSRs - winning scores are highish - I suppose the run is back and people are losing the shots they got back in winter, while I didn't blow out - this time last year 34 points got you a ball and a cap reduction because we were playing against the ACR - still, happy enough because there's a 3 in front of the score

This game seriously does your head in sometimes. Usual Saturday Single Stab today. Started like a house on fire; birdie, par, birdie, 3 FIR, 3 GIR, almost perfect golf and 10 points after 3 holes. Scrambled unlucky bogies on the next 2 holes, after some weird bounces. Good up and down for par on the next and I am a respectable 15 points through 6 holes. Then it really started to go pear shaped. My drive on the 7th was right on line, but got a horrible sprinkler bounce and headed sideways toward the hazard. Found it on the edge of the hazard and playable, but very restricted back swing. Try to just punch it out, but seems it was sitting in a big hole, hidden by the pine straw it was sitting on and it popped almost straight up and down, but was at least out of the hazard. But straight into an even worse lie! Tried to punch it out, but ended up in the water and hole wiped. Scrambled 3 points to finish the nine with 18. Back nine was almost a replay, parred the first 3 holes, after more dodgy bounces and lies, kept scrambling points, but 2 wipes did the damage and finished with 15 points and a lipout birdie putt on the last, for 33 points total.

Another 40 points today, but at my home course for the first time. 19/21 with a wipe by a shot on each 9. Actually added up to my first sub-90 round in Australia with an 88/67

Having said that I was really ordinary off the tee - nothing came out of the middle all day, but the 5w, 5i and putter were on fire so I was able to get away with it.

Well played today Gareth, some of your second shots were awesome . 33 for me today, driver was terrible, 18/ 15 , 1 wipe, 3 one pointer, 2 three pointers! Not very inspiring. New irons will be ready on tuesday , so figuring a couple of rounds in the 20's coming up

Finished with 36 points on Saturday hit it ok but nothing great. Played with Bits, Benno_r and Waddsy with Bits also having 36 points which on a course he had never seen was a great effort. Playing Coffs and Bonville this week which should be good

Played awefull for a 86/78 nett. And had to pull my finger out to play the last 4 holes 1 under to do that. Bloody golf.

Not quite the winners circle but a I played pretty well today. Slight tweak to the backswing and I started to hit it goof again I just had no luck on the greens. I lipped out my first putt for birdie from about 25 feet and it never got closer from then. No birdies but no doubles either. Finished with 35 points.

Overall happy with the game and hope I can remember what tod o next time I play.

I managed to crack it for 40 points yesterday, which is my best score points wise for at least a year I reckon. Left a few out there too.

Had a lesson Thurs last week and it's had immediate impacts on my ball striking. Hope it keeps going

PS it was only good enough for a ball... And DSR of 69 meant I lost .1!

Couldnt hit a fairway, barely hit a green, had a 3 putt, 2 doubles but somehow managed 79 hits and 36 points.
If it wasn't for my up and downs I would have had sub 30 points. And this was after shooting a 34 on the back nine in practice yesterday (Even Par).

had 2 days of golf this week.
1.Played Coffs Harbour had 36 points in windy conditions. hit 10 greens and 10 fairways. made 3 birdies but lost 2 balls due to side ways bounces from the edge of fairways which resulted in wipes overall a good day.
2.Played Bonville today and had 40 points only hit 7 fairways and hit 9 greens putted ok on the slow grainy greens with a great birdie on the last, hopefully I might win the comp

overall 2 great days of golf which will hopefully knock some shots off my blown out h/cap

Had a dream round at Links Hope Island. Haven't played there since i was about 12 i reckon.

Went out in 40 and back in 36 for a +4 76.

My last round was a nightmare so i went to the range on the weekend and hit about 220 balls, i guess it did the trick.

GIR and FIR not that high, but the majority of misses were minor with good lies. Scrambled well, didn't fluff any chips like usual.
Pretty happy with that.
