    On a separate subject, Jake Carlisle v Ryan Crowley. What's the difference there? - one gets banned, but the AFL say nothing about the other

    Crowley was banned under the anti-doping policy, Carlisle's probably comes under the illicit drugs policy. Different kettles of fish.

    Maybe I'm not thinking of Crowley then. Was there someone banned for illicit drugs?

    Even if not, you'd think this would at least be a strike!

    Bennell was banned by his club, not the AFL.

    As far as I know, no AFL player has been banned for illicit drugs.

    Yes, then the Hawks de-listed him and he ended up in the SANFL at Westies.
    Not sure of the time line from Hawks to Westies if it was straight after or he sat a year out under ban/sanction?

    Banned for 12 games.

    It was Travis Tuck. I can't really remember, but he may have been rookie listed at Hawthorn during his ban time.
