Has any Australian tourney ever had less publicity in the mainstream media? It didn't even get a mention in the golf newsletters (unless I just missed it). I didn't even know it was on.
On Channel 62 (7two) on my TV.
Anyway, it is quite a good field. Geoff Ogilvy, VDub, The Duff, Charl Swartzel and most of the B grade euro tour players. And S Bowditch, but he's not going too well.
It is quite interesting watching them play a hard and fast course, but depressing watching them hit irons into a 560m par 5. Probably three woods for me."There are 50 things to remember in the golf swing. Trouble is that I can only remember 49 of them" - Bob Hope.

The guy is as boring as dry grass. Watched him on thur and he's more boring on the course than he appears on TV.
Can't even manage to talk above a mumbling.
Not sure how much they pay him for appearance but it's poorly spent money.
