Cool, is he good?
Last few days I started slowing my swing down, today and before it worked until my tempo got out of whack.

I'd also suggest spending time on your short game as I've seen plenty of single markers with worse swings. Luck...

Look at that, then look at the third frame here

You need to hit down and out through the ball, not flick at it.
The flip is what causes fats, thins and over time can cause the stand up motion.
Do you take much of a divot on well struck shots? Do you hit it high or low? Are you a consistent chipper?

Wow you can see it 100% in that still shot can't you.
I usually don't take a divot, pick it clean.
However occasionally I will flush a shot and get a divot in front of the ball.
Chipping I used to be fairly consistent but when my core swing went to the dogs a few months ago, it got dragged back a bit

I think if you didn't go so far inside on the backswing and downswing you would probably not have to flip at it, the club head just gets to far behind your hands.

100% agree here , I play off 8 and if you go to my swing video you may cry of laughter. Don't think about mechanics too much until you go see a proper coach mate.

Been working on my swing, used to come way too far inside and have improved it a lot of late. Uploaded a new video today and drew lines to confirm.
Handicap now down from 16.5 or so to 13.6 since.
Here's the old one first and then the second one.
OLD VIDEO:

NEW VIDEO:

Couldn't seem to get these video's to embed into the post, only as links?
Keen to hear any feedback.

Thanks mate
I had a lesson a few months back and have just been working on that but it's been hard and I'm still a bit inconsistent to be honest.
I'm a cricket and just took up golf about two years ago so it's a struggle and doesn't come naturally to swing on plane.
I miss to the right a lot still as it still feels like it's too straight a swing so I try hard to release properly

Keep at it it's looking good you are working on the right things.Do you have a video from the front. You say missing right is the ball starting straight then going right or start right going further right

Looks heaps better. Looks as though you don't hinge your wrist very much.

Yes mate all good, just hoping the course dries out by then, it's flooded at the moment.

ST your swing looks heaps better.i don't have a lot of wrist hinge on the way back but it does increase as I start the down swing. I try and keep as much of that hinge as long as I can to create club lag.Watching Michael Breed on the golf fix and he was saying to increase club head speed to have a wide arc on the back swing and to hold the wrist angle on the down swing which will create lag . BTW your knees look a lot softer .Keep it going your heading in the right direction
