Ozgolf punters club - stage 4, round 2

It's time to kick off Stage 4 of the Punters club. We have $2565 in the kitty, divided among 19, $135 each.

New punters can join for a $135 entry.

Will leave it open until Wednesday 6/8/2014 6pm for new punters. After that I will do a random draw and we will be away again.


Rules:

1. A once off payment of $135 secures you a share in the club.

2. A roster will be drawn up and posted so everyone knows in what order they will be betting.

3. We will be using a Tom Waterhouse sporting bet account and everyone will have access to the login to see bets made, balance etc.

4. If you double the money that you have bet, then you can punt again the next week. i.e for a $135 outlay, minimum of $270 collect required to bet again.

5. Winnings to be distributed when everyone has punted, or we can decide to go again.

6. It is anticipated that bets will be a minimum of $40 and payouts for each bet should be at least $135. This will not however be strictly enforced, as to entice some of our exotic multi-bet punters in the ranks. (e.g having a $10 place bet on a horse @ 2.80, to win $28 is not encouraged.)

I've gone for something even riskier than a tennis multi. Richmond....

Richmond to defeat Adelaide in Adelaide by under 39.5 points. $35 @ $2.15 => $75.25

Richmond's form has been very good, while there isn't much to Adelaide's.
They have beaten Adelaide the last two times that they have played.
A couple of predictors have Richmond winning by under 10 points.
Nearly all of Richmond's games have been low scoring (both teams not scoring over 90 in the last 5 games), and Richmond have only beaten a team by 40 or more once this season; that was Brisbane.

edit: I just checked and he has been at about $1.55-$1.70 for each.

Yeah, world number 85 playing in challenger matches tends to attract the short odds.

Meanwhile, if Kyrgios continues to act like the world's biggest tosser, he might lose the favor of tennis australia and Millman might start to get some funding and make it to bigger events.

It is a ranking built mostly on Challenger results though. With that ranking he automatically gets into Grand Slams, which was probably the goal.

Yeah, but he hasn't exactly crashed and burned in the few bigger tournaments he's made it into.

A bit of experience playing 5 set matches (he definitely hits the wall in the long matches) under higher pressure and it'll be interesting to see how he goes. It's just disappointing that it's taken so long for him to make it this far. Injuries haven't helped. That being said, he's a crap load more grounded than a few other notable Aussie players in the top 100. Might be good for our image.
