Cheika or Jake White, can't see too many options. Personally I'd go White they need someone with international experience who can take over immediately ... Plus he knows the Brumbies lads well

I was there last night too. Sensational game. But may as well have been an all blacks home game with the amount of kiwis there. They should play the bledisloes in Perth and the SA games in Brissie. It would nullify the expat supporters and make the visiting teams fly an extra 5 hours.

And give the job to cheika. White is very good, but a dickhead and the games would be boring to watch with endless box kicks and mid field bombs.
Cinderella story, out of nowhere, former greenskeeper, now about to become a Masters champion..... It looks like a mirac.. It's in the hole! It's in the hole!

Stupid ass box kick cost us the game. 90 seconds of one out rucking it up was all we needed to do, but no, stupid ass halfback kicks the ball back to the kiwis.

So what am I missing? Why is Beale being "protected"? and was Link being persecuted?

I've heard Beale is being protected because there are a lot more players involved. He's just the dimwit that got caught. If they hang him out to dry he might just spill the beans on more of the squad - not a good proposition.

So Hooper and leadership group are allowing this to happen? Well forget about them doing anything worthwhile anytime soon! They will rot from the centre out, and it won't end well. Time for the Rugby "family" to step in me thinks.

Yea that is the impression I get. Players are protecting each other.

Why didn't the journos ask these questions at yesterday's press conference with Pulver and Hooper?

Most journos are nothing more than glorified PR agents for the various sports. Who from news ltd is going to say or write anything less than glowing about rugby?

That did lose the game but I still feel the penalty with 4 mins to go 3 point lead , kick to the corner and control for the remainder of the game would have been the play.. Stay in the AB's 22 for as long as possible. Giving them the ball back even with a 6 point lead to kick us deep into our own territory was probably when they felt like they had a chance.

I reckon it was before that - didn't put the game out of sight when the all blacks were down to 14. Whilst they were within 7, there was always the chance of a mistake or a bit of brilliance or whatever...

They are never out of a game, but we should have won it from there.

True , I just feel like a 3 or a 6 point lead was irrelevant against the AB's. They would never have played for a draw if they had gotten the ball back anyway. Hooper has taken a lead into the last quarter of our last 3 games and lost them all too. I love the bloke as a player but not sure about captaincy.

Yep, numerous chances to put it away in that period imo. Didn't get the job done when it mattered.
