    Default 2005 Golflink records

I saw a thread posted by Jack on ISG that made me look at the number of rounds that went through golflink last year and the movement of my handicap.  Here's what I found:

    Number of golflink rounds: 28
    Number of courses:  16
1.75 rounds per course (Can anyone beat that? The lower the better.)

    Year start: 13.5
    Year end: 12.6
    Increase/Decrease: 0.9 improvement

    Year high: 13.6
    Year low: 11.4

I haven't had a handicap decrease for 7 months now, and have slid out 1.2 since my all time low in June.  It's the longest time and the biggest increase to my handicap without a decrease, for the last two years, if not ever.  Surely the big round is just around the corner.

I'm sure there are plenty of you who will be able to top my 28 rounds.

You could have at least updated your golflink link in your sig.

You've got a better course/round ratio than me.  Noone can accuse us of being home course players anyway.

    No more requests.....

I actually can beat that Andy. Quite easily in fact, but my course is not on Golf Link, so I have no proof.

    I don't believe you..

Give us a rundown anyway, if you have some records.

Click on the link in your sig. It doesn't work. Everything must have been transferred across to your new number already, and the old one is dead.

That works.  I think I've seen someone's record transfer across to a new club before, but I can't remember who....maybe Terry.

Number of golflink rounds: 52 (imagine that)
Number of courses:  2 (1 round at Mareeba - the rest at Cairns)
26 rounds per course (this is really misleading - see above)

    Year start: 8.2
    Year end: 5.9
    Increase/Decrease: 2.3 improvement

    Year high: 8.2
Year low: 5.4 (played to it for 3 rounds)

I've gone out 0.1 in my last 5 consecutive rounds. Haven't looked like playing to my handicap, let alone breaking it.

Edit: As an addendum to the above post, I have probably played around 5 or 6 social rounds all year . Saturday arve comp is about the only golf I play.

    Number of golflink rounds: 12
    Number of courses: 7
1.71 rounds per course (Lower than Andy but less rounds. 1 course =6 rounds)

    Year start: 21.8
    Year end: 16.8
    Increase/Decrease: 5.0 improvement

    Year high: 21.9
    Year low: 16.8

Pretty good year when I look at the improvement especially considering so little golf. Here's to more golf this year and another improvement like this one.

my golf link record has ****ed itself somehow so i'll copy paste from Jack's ISG thread.

Official Golf Link Rounds - 27
    Handicap Start - 4.6
    Current Handicap - 6.4

I went out .1 in 22 of 27 rounds - that must be some kind of record!

    I played 43 different courses throughout 2005.
    Scotland - 12
    Melbourne/Mornington - 10
    Adelaide - 2
    Canberra - 2
    Sydney/NSW Country - 17

I only played my home course twice in a comp.

I started the year on a handicap of 12 & have ended the years on a handicap of 12. I score 42 points in a comp 3 separate times, of which only 1 of those cards made it back to my club. I also scored 19 points in one of those rounds. That card did make it back to my club.

I anticipate I won't play so many different courses this year, but it will still be around 30+.
