Nully Cup Warm-up: The Cut - 08/09/13 - PGN Black Tee Day
WA Lads,
The PGN run a few comps throughout the year that are open to pretty much anyone. One of these is the Black Tee Challenge at The Cut (They also do one at KB in december). It's on 8th September (Sunday), and will cost $120 (cart incl.) at the moment. They may offer a discount for this closer to the date, but i can't confirm yet.
As many of you have expressed interest in heading out there for a day, this may be a good option/idea. A little over a month before the Nully Cup/GSM. An added bonus, for those who only play the one round a week(end), it would be handicapped as well.
I'm not sure when entries close, but they are a fair way off at this stage. Lets go for an EOI first, and see who's keen. can work out bookings/payments closer to the date.
EOI:
Rubes
Pencil
IDG
Jeffo

as mentioned in the OP, looking at expressions so far. There is a note on the PGN site (and mentioned in the OP) that they will be offering a discount shortly.

FWIW - after speaking to a few different guys who have played the black tee days before, its generally the better players that get involved in them. The PGN b grade (19+ cappers) im told don't normally go for the harder events they put on.

Feel free to pull the piss, but given how many blokes will only play in a handicapped round now, thought this might be a good option.
