    Default Driver shaft selection

Im looking for a new driver shaft.
Im looking for something in a mid launch, low spin.
Something about 65-75g in a stiff flex.

A bit about my crapness driver swing.
Spot on 100mph, not to sure if I hit up or down on it?
My usual shot is a fade, bad miss is a high slice.

Im thinking about a Fujikura Fuel TS, a UST VTS Silver 65, maybe even a AD-BB?
Or a new driver. Could get a Cobra Amp Cell Pro with a real Kuro Kage in it.

Not to sure what else fits the bill.
Im just looking for suggestions at the moment
What else could possibly fit the bill Im looking for?

    Cheers

You need reg flex with those numbers and ball shape. What's your handicap?

    Im of 16
    Why a reg flex?
My numbers suggest firmly in the middle of Stiff?
I have tried a couple of rwg flex's and just not a fan of the feel.
    Actually I tell a fib
The Aldila VS Proto By You in reg felt pretty nice

I am getting lessons on my driver. In the middle of a couple of things, so Im blaming that on the high slider. It wasnt there as bad before

Rob you could also go something like a tipped regular Proforce V2 cos they play quite firm. I was using them for a few years and my drive swing is around the 110mph range.

Because you don't swing it fast enough for stiff flex, especially if your misses are to the right.

Have had a heated discussion about this before but have hit one in the interim and while it's not for me, I agree that it would be worth experimenting with here.

I think titty has a ref bi-matrix that would play pretty stiff. He also has an axicore in stiff, I think it's the green one.

Im not talking about a slice into the next fairway, it just goes to the rough.
I also miss it left as well. I just meant my dead set shocker is right.
My normal fade is about 2-3 mts which im happy with.

Thanks for the advice, I take everything on board

Maybe you need a lesson then, instead of a new driver shaft recommended by a bunch of Internet wankers who have never seen your swing.

Have played with a bi matrix for a few rounds. Wasnt a massive fan.
Havent had much with the axiv cores. They seem quite reasonable

I'm also a real life wanker.
Why exactly do I need to answer to you?

Not much difference doing that and buying new shafts off the brochure

Hence the reason I asked for advice.
    I would likely pick wrong.
At least if I follow advice, I have someone to blame when it turns to crap!

    Get a VTS.

Forget flex ratings. I would guess a tipped reg in the silver or a stiff red.

Real question: looking for a toy or want to get it right? Go get fitted mate.

If its the former; get a BB or a HD6. They are purdy!

As opposed to an internet wanker who bases shaft selection on handicap and assumes misses are due to shaft flex.

You could need a reg or close to an X at 100mph - it's all about the length, tempo, load, release etc. You can barely even take a wild guess with just SS.
