Default Bag that suits a Clicgear 3.0

I am in the market for a new cart bag that will be going on my Clicgear. I can't use my staff bag as I can't access the back pockets and when I use my carry bag, the Clicgear straps are crushing the frame.

What are people out in OzGolf land using and what would you recommend?

I am looking at either buying locally, or taking my chances on something from overseas like an Ogio Duke.

I want something with ample storage for raingear and at least 2 ball pockets.

Also, what's the verdict on the putter well? Good? Bad? Who cares? I've never had a bag with one before.

While I'm here, anyone try a Cally Forrester?

I'm using an Eagles and Birdies Oakland bag. Was pretty cheap at GCO and sits really well on the Clicgear

My brother uses the Forester bag, pockets galore, very strong IMO, I would've bought one if he didn't give me the TM bag he won. Great size cooler pocket which is what I always look for now in a cart bag.

I use a Cally Forrester on my clicgear 3.0 and its perfect. Its the model with the hard rubber loop handle at the top of the bag.

Thanks for the feedback guys. Checking out the Forrester on lunch today. It will suit my recent Cally love.

Sorry about the putter well question 3, it seems that everyone was doing it, some bags twice. I thought putter wells were the new Nunchuk.

The putter well I have seems to ruin the grip as It has a rubber top and ripping the putter out has affected the grip a bit!
Why exactly do I need to answer to you?

Is that to fit the horses head into?

+1, my less 6 months old betti grip is showing signs of wear because of this.

    I have one of these:

Its a pretty good fit for the clicgear, sits well, has a putter well, but doesn't look tacked on.

Is that the 2011 model? I read the 2012 isn't a good fit due to the reverse orientation of the bag, ie, built for carts.

I got in Christmas '10, so probs the '11 model, it sits like this:

I will try and look at a '12 model to see any difference.

It has the big rubber ring on the wrong side. Shame, because it is an awesome bag.

Do you mean the handle part? I can see 2 cart models for 2012, the one that looks mine is Lightweight Cart bag (the other is the Reverse Cart Bag). The rubber grip thing is about the only annoying thing about the bag, but i only have 2 wedges there.

Reverse cart bag? Might have to Google that. Is it the same as the lightweight, only reversed, or a different bag?

Different bag by the look of it (looks a bit shizen imo). the lightweight looks pretty much the same as the '11

The rubber grip blocks wedges from going in, or if you put you driver at the bottom, the shaft gets him by clubheads. Love the rest of it.

Fore mine the wedges go in enough, yeah its not perfect.
I wasn't a fan of a lot of other bag's, the 'putter well' looks shithouse, but is on most bags, this one it looks the goods.

Anyway hope that was of some help
