Stranger Things was popular in this house too.

Shame Terra Nova didn't get renewed after the first season. It wasn't bad entertainment and had potential.

It's comfortably a top 3 all time to show for me, with Breaking Bad and Seinfeld. It's a style of comedy that's not for everyone and would probably be hard to warm to if your only getting to it now and have seen Gervais in other things.

I've seen the movie and am on the fence at this stage. It was piss funny in places but Brent is over the top in it. I think they could have taking a different approach to it that would have been better, but was well worth the $10 to see it.

Default TV shows I love to watch

I think the funniest parts of the office are those without Brent.

Someone being a prick can be funny, like Blackadder is, but I just don't find Brent very amusing.

You definitely won't like the movie then, as there isn't an amusing supporting cast around him like he had in the office.

I'm kinda with Andy on this one. Brent was mostly cringeworthy and I just felt sorry for him. Most of the laughs came from the rest.

I wasn't going to watch Australian Survivor, but I saw that a workmate was in it. My workmate is Peter, who is struggling big time. I don't know him too well, as he is a contractor based in Canberra, but it adds a level of interest.

I watched the first episode at the wife's insistence, but that's as far as either of us will get. It was appallingly bad, felt forced & disingenuous.

I've been over the survivor concept for a lot of years now.

My biggest problem right now is Bachelor in Paradise on Monday and Tuesdays, and the Bachelor on Wednesday and Thursdays. Rob and Jas are glued to them. So I go watch something in the bedroom, fall asleep, then when they're over Rob says we can watch something else now and I get cranky for her waking me. And the bloody bachelorette stats soon. God help me!

I absolutely love Ricky Gervais, one of, if not THE, funniest bloke on the planet.

Except in The Office. Don't get it.

Another non fan of the office. I've tried a couple of times to watch it but lasted all of 5-10min before changing channels.

Wasn't Gervais the writer or creator of it or something? So maybe if his character didn't appeal to all, his genius was still in the other characters anyway.

    Not a show...

But on holidays and they have Fox here. Has it always had this many ads? I thought the idea of pay was to have no ads?

Spoiler alert for those who have not watched/ finished season 2 of Narcos, or those who haven't watched it and plan to: http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/lis...-season-929049

A whole bunch of new shows on the go:

    Designated Survivor
    Aftermath
    Timeless
    Notorious
    Paranoid
    This Is Us

For readers of sci-fi, the Richard Morgan book 'Altered Carbon' is being made into a TV show being released next year. Good read if you like that stuff & haven't read it yet.
