    Default Callaway FT TOUR Driver

Earlier in the week I received delivery of my new toy - a Callaway FT TOUR driver. I've never hit one but it looks great. It's still in the plastic - Usually I can't wait to try out a new stick, but this one almost looks to pure to hit!

I have read some good reviews so am looking forward to giving it a whack!

No doubt I will get the chance over the weekend.

    Game on!

Leave it in the plastic, you'll get an extra 10m.

Am guessing you ordered the V2 shaft as a special? I have only seen the Tour with the Voodoo shaft. Was there any upcharge?

    Where did you get fitted?

I am a V2 shaft fan but have only been able to try this out at the range with the Voodoo. Interestingly I was hitting the X flex better than the S in the Voodoo... but the V2 could play a little stiffer?

Will be waiting to here how it goes.

    Cheers,
    Waz

I have hit a V2 and the Voodoo, the V2 does plays stiffer IMO. I preferred the Voodoo in S flex for this driver..

    How did you go Nugget?

Daggs, the FT Tour is actually a totally different head to the FTiz. Its a smaller more traditional shape and is designed for tour players and lower hcp players. Still very forgiving IMO and a real beauty

They're about $450, maybe less. Timtheputterman has some that you could get here under $400AUD.

Well, I have had this driver in the bag now for a couple of months and have only played with it twice. Maybe hit 20 drives with it. The first two were smokin but I haven't hit a fairwary since. I think it is all psychological - I am a 460cc man and probably need all the help I can get as I am not playing as much as I would like. Might need to offer this up in the pro-shop, but have no idea what it would be worth. It is absolutely mint, looks brand new. Any ideas??? All serious offers considered.

They are going on Ebay for around the $300-320 mark with the Voodoo. Let me know if you're keen to trade + cash for anything.

yes, one idiot bought one off me for $475 and sold it for $315 after 9 holes. One swallow doesn't make a summer though morgy, harsh comparison.

They are about $300USD new on ebay.com if that helps.

Very true, I've been watching them go on the bay for a week or so. I've seen prices from $300-$400 (used), depending on shaft etc. $475 is still a decent price for the average person with limited knowledge of where to get clubs. They aren't even in our Pro shop yet, when they are you can probably double that figure.

You can't compare anything to aussie ebay at the moment, it's total rubbish. I've seen mint i15 drivers under $300, completely ridiculous.

They are selling for $300USD new and not much more pre shipping charges golfnugget.

I have noticed that 3OD. What do you think is causing it? Is the market flooded?

There is a lot going around about "fake clubs" which seems to be putting some people off buying things. Not sure if this is the total cause though.

Maybe I should just put it on the bay and see what I get. I would prefer to sell on ozgolfbut still am uncertain of it's value. I don't want to offend by putting a high price on it, but at the same time - need to get whatever it is worth to fund some new irons!

I just picked up a FT Tour from the US with a Matrix Ozik Xcon 6 shaft...it will stay in the US until a colleagues gets back in April but really looking forward to it coming in.

Watched the one that went for a little over AUD$300 on eBay here but didn't pull the trigger because I am a little wary of the VooDoo shaft, I really like the Ozik shaft and had this combo in a FT-5.
Hey guys, what's going on? I was just jerki ... ed out of a deep sleep.

I think you are right, but also I think the dollar is .92 at the mo as well. I have 700+ feedback and get asked daily if my gear is real (that isn't a shot at you either morgy )

Most folks simply don't know how to use ebay effectively to purchase safely.

I read on golfwrx that he is using the FT-9 TA, but when he won Callaway said he was using the FT Tour. Some say it is the same club, some don't. Apparently the FT-9 TA isn't coming to retail but how many times have we heard that
