I got orthotics which seem to be helping (it's been less than a week). I'm also icing it and then massaging it by rolling a frozen bottle of water under it or a tennis ball or similar.

    U have it too???

That is only treating the symptoms. Get those Ankles, Tendons and Achilles loose, and then focus on a proper walking gait (heel down first). Tight Ankles and Calves leads to a poor gait that tears and bruise the PF. The PF pain causes you to try and protect it, and your gait worsens. It is a spiral downwards!

Agreed Daves, but I think the orthotics are doing the trick of getting the gait better and the ankle/leg straighter.

Yes unfortunately but not for some years, just ****in annoying. The shock wave stuff worked for me but different things seem to fix different people.

Had it last year and it is a lot better now. No orthotics but used the frozen water bottle every night and also got a Strassburg sock to sleep in.
The sock was recommended by my Physio.

    I
got mine from being up and down ladders for about 2 months straight. The rung of the ladder pressing against my foot.

Can no longer get Watties tin spaghetti in the 220g tins
I don't like the taste of Heinz. SPC is ok but not as good as Watties ☹️
These are the perfect serving size to have with 3 pieces of buttered toast. The big tins are way too much for 1 serve.

I don't know if they still make it, but they had the best extra cheesy tinned spaghetti too. I remember when I had my teeth out I couldn't find it.

    Smokers outside hospital.
Just walked out after visiting my old man and got a face full of smoke as I was walking out the door.
Told the guy to move away from the door and copped a mouthful for it.
I wasn't exactly in a happy mood so I fired back at him a bit and got told to leave by hospital security.

And the ones outside the shopping centres, or jut about everywhere you can't smoke! Half the time when I've seen them smoking outside the hospital they've been in a gown and attached to a drip!

It'd be funnier attached to an iron lung.
