    Default Which cleveland wedge is better 588 v 900

    Hey guys, thanks to 3Oneday i'm keen as on the wrx wedges but cant really remember the main diff between the 588 v 900.

    which was the better wedge design?
    Which was more forgiving?
    Which had better Feel?

    If you could answer any of these questions that would be appreciated
    If it aint for sale the right price has just not been offered

    hey dracz, thanks for the offer. couldn't be bothered posting back and for from brisbane.

    what are your thoughts on the wedges?

    I have had one of each, i just cant rember what was different about them and online reviews are just marketing dribble so far

    I think it's just head shape. The 588 has stood the test of time, I've never used a 900.

    900, VJ still uses rebadged 900 wedges. I loved my GM 900 58* I just went looking for more spin. I think they have a rounder more compact and better shape.

    depends on what you are after.

    Forgiveness - 588, due to bigger face
    Ability to control shots - 900.

    I had both and I would go 588 anydays.

    900. but personal preference like everything golf.... but the 900 series is a great wedge, i'd go a set of 900's becu's over anything.

    588's best wedge ever designed

    The CG14's sold well as they were very similar to the 588.

    I think the 588 is cast and 900 is forged.

    Edit: Not that it means much as the 588 is probably the most popular cleveland wedge ever. And the Titlest 200 series are also cast and I love them too.

    900 series form forged, fancy casting

    cg12 was more of the 900 shape

    There is something about the 60 degree 588 that shouts high ad soft at you.

    Pretty much titleist anything is cast, as far as wedges are concerned... aren't they?
