First game back on a scratch handicap in about 14 years after the new handicap system was implemented. It was also the first game I have played hungover for a long time. Front 9 was a bit of a blur, the ball was moving forward and fairly straight and I managed to turn Level par. The highlight of the nine being the continuation of a battle we have every week with the course marshal. He constantly drives striaght down the centre of the fairway towards you while your teeing off, or parks the cart right in the driving spot. We have geed him up a lot the past few weeks, and now he has taking to trying to speed us up (he picked a hole where we had a lost ball and lost 3/4 of a hole)

Golf was a bit better the Back 9, made a couple of birdies and was cruising at -1. I let myself lose concentration thinking about how easily I was going at -1 considering my preparation. That caught up with me with a Bogey, Double (lost ball) finish. I wasn't happy.
