what sort of distances are you getting with the Hybrids ??
is there much of a gap between the two ?
Those wedges look like they've had some work done to them, what's so good about them that makes you keep them in your bag so long ?
What ball are you playing and how much spin do you get on it from the wedges?? do they chew up balls or what ?
Is the Circa 62 better than the 2ball you used to use ?
I see you've got a reg Speeder in the driver. Any particular reason for this ? so many of us here tend to use stiff shafts, but you are a low marker using a reg shaft ...

jesus mate, how many spoonfulls of coffee in that cuppa ????
Hybrids = still not sure, I know the 21 is good for 180 or so on a calm day, the 15 really doesn't get that much use. I have got one out to about 220 or so with it off the tee, but it falls back to not much diff than the 21 off the deck.
Wedges = Nomad Tour van, had them for over 12 months I think. The 51 is perfect from 80 to 90 and in, stops and spins hard. The 57 has been ground down to a 6 bounce. As you saw at Kogarah, it can play like a 64 if needed. I use a HX 56, it gets a bruise from the wedges but that is all. No tearing at all.
Circa62 = has been in the bag for a fortnight and I have had under 30 putts each round thus far. Not confident enough to sell the 2ball just yet, but it is getting more thought about each day. It has a harder feel off the face than the 2ball and I have found it easier to square.
Driver - ahhh, regular shafts. I started using the Bridgey with a ProLaunch regular, and immediately started bombing them to parts I used to go to a couple of years ago. Being a ho, I thought I would like to try a speeder and I immediately grabbed another few metres. Some old guy at a range handed me a regular couple of shafted clubs a couple of months ago, and I started immediately landing them 20 in front of where I was hitting my stiff shafted thing. Won't now go back to stiff, am contemplating a change in the hybrids too, but the irons will stay as stiff for a few more years. At least until I am 40 :p

From what I have seen over the last month caddying for Mr 3oneday (is that right BOSS :smt002 ) I would like to make a couple of comments
# The Circa 62 is a superb putter. It seems to get the ball rolling very quickly and it feels better balanced than anything I think I have putted with before. I can't imagine this leaving his bag for quite a while.
# I would not have believed Pete was using a regular PL Blue initially but the combo was working really well for him. Then the Speeder went in which actually feels a little softer than the PL and last weekend it was going even further.
I think there is certainly a case for finding the softest shaft suiting your swing you can handle.
I may need to speak to Jono about those "L" flexes :-k

Glad you got rid of those enormous 775's!!

Glad you got rid of those enormous 775's!!Got them Monday, hit them Tuesday, very very nice and so much crisper than stuff I have been using. The feel is really really solid. Was centering them quite nicely 8)

See there is a Stiff shaft in the driver again...why is that, been working out to pick up some swing speed? It was actually more that the reg driver was an experiment back then.
As soon as the Bridgey left the bag I went back to stiff, no noticeable distance differences but I am certainly hitting more fairways with the FT3.

Ok, I'm going out on a limb here by stating (as requested by King TK) that the sticks in my bag are here to stay for a while....
I used the worlds greatest anti-left driver today, the 3° open Hi Bore XL. I hit the most fairways for quite some time, did miss one left but I was aiming there. 5 to 10 yard draw at worst, big thanks to T and Rick for talking me into it :):)
So, the bag....
Hi Bore XL Tour 9.5° Stiff Red Fit On
14° and 20° Heavenwood, strong RCH 75.
now, control yourselves TM baggers
R7 TP (cavity backs) 3 to W - S300 dygolds
52° Miz Chrome
58° and 60° Miz Raw
SRT XG 2 ball (yes, now not for sale 8))
I am still deciding on the 3 iron and 20° Heavenwood. A couple of ordinary hybrid shots today makes me think I could hit a bad 3 iron better ;)
So that's it, do your worst :)

1. Hi Bore - Knew it would be perfect, if you still have the whiteboard - load it up - meant to be an awesome combo.
2. Heavenwoods - Cant see those lasting!
3. R7 TP'S - Only surprised cause they are TM'S. Actually kind of like those irons. Good mix of feel and forgiveness and you dont have to worry about covers:)
4. Wedges - Cant go wrong with Mizuno's. You may change your mind when you see my Sonartec wedges (When they arrive)
5. Putter - Yeah the greens were slow, you actually rolled the ball well just couldnt get the speed. Please dont go back to a belly!
Thats my worst!

58 & 60 wedges... not too close together?mainly a thought process thing, the 58 has 10 bounce, the 60 has 6. I find sometimes I am walking up and not thinking about the shot.... Now it is "ok, what is the best shot, which is the best club"
I have also found a 60 is better out of sand but the 58 is better off grass. I used both yesty and got up and down all bar once.

2. you're not helping :p
5. I had a putting tip during the week (and played with the same guy yesty) and had 30 putts.
He suggested I actually have the putter 3/4" behind the ball at address, to ensure I am getting through the putts and not decel'ing. I rolled about 5 30+ footers to within 2 feet.

I just checked my WITB from 4.5 years ago and realised I have a Bridgey hybrid in my bag again!
Anyway, here is the current bag, 15 clubs as I will either take a 13° 3 wood or my 3 iron.
Driver - MacGregor MT 460 9.5 Stiff DVS
Fairway - MacGregor MT fairway 13° stock stiff
Hybrid - Bridgey 18° NV 85 stiff
Irons - Ping i10 - 3 to S (S bent from 54 to 52°)
Wedges - Original Y cutter satin 56° and TP Y cutter black 60° (still the best lobby I have used)
Putter - Cleveland Classic 2 (Looks same as an XG #9 but with no insert)
and, after many years of using the HX 56 (Tour i) and have recently changed to the Pro V1.

Any real reason for the ball change ?
How do you find the ProV1 ? Is all the hype warranted ;)

With new HX56 pills floating around in retail stores at mid-$30/doz, I'm still well and truely on the cally train.

Just wanted a change, trying to play golf again as opposed to the crap I have dished up the past 12 months.
Sort of like a fresh start if you like :)
