After winning a shaft from Proclubs on EBay, it was shipped on 20th July and an original delivery date of 30th. The last update of the package was it's arrival in L.A. on the 23rd July. The delivery date has now slipped 4 times and it is now out to 17th August and the package is still in L.A.

I even tried to email their Customer Service but you have to live in the U.S. for that to happen

What the he'll is going on and am I likely to ever see the shaft

I just bought a couple of Iomic grips from ebay. My tracking advice from USPS says electronic lodgement on 7th July and nothing else. I received the grips a week ago. So I wouldn't rely to much on their tracking system.

I'd say it's here, stuck in customs.

Lets face it, of nothing else the yanks seem efficient. I doubt they'd really have something sitting unattended for 2 weeks, it's here.

Yeah it's in customs with the thousands of other packages waiting to be cleared. I'm guessing customs has never been this busy!

I bought a putter from a reputable dealer in the US on ebay. The seller assures me it was sent on the 5th of july. It has still not arrived and usps tracking has not been updated since the original entry (electronic lodgement blah blah). I have contacted the seller several times, he has responded but does not seem too interested in finding out what has happened. I have contacted Aust post. they say they have no record of the tracking number and recommend i contact the seller. Any ideas? I am about ready to open an item not recieved dispute. Don't know what else to do.

I got this message from a seller I purchased off last week:

The USPS tracking number is: CQxxxxx. Unfortunately; this will not track like a UPS package. Our system is very antiquated. It may show a track when it reaches Miami for transfer to an International flight. Then again when it hits your country's Customs Department.
Thank you for your purchase!

All you can do is diarise the 45 days from purchase, and lodge just prior with Paypal.

Have you checked at your local Post Office!?

Reason I ask is I was waiting for a package to arrive from the States via them, never showed, someone mentioned they have a habit of calling and if not in leaving the pasckage at the PO WITHOUT leaving a notification card in your letterbox! Sure enough, when I went to my local PO there it was!

Just got a putter cover that was posted on the 25/7 in a priority envelope so that isn't too bad.
Finally got news on the putter. (after lodging an item not recieved case). Somehow it spent a month in Miami at a USPS depot.
I have heard stories, which are easy to believe that with the sheer volume of online sales from the US, (strong dollar) that USPS and Aussie customs literally cannot cope and delivery times have been blown out of the water.

Question.Do they split up and send from there.Costs per customer in a group buy?

Its all getting sent to me. All the other blokes in the group buy are from around Sydney/Wollongong so it works out well, got arrangements with each of them for pickup. I think the order ended up being about $18 in shipping per person. According to the fedex tracking the parcel is 16.8lbs/7.6Kg. Ordered on Thursday, should be delivered to my door in the next day or two :)

yeah USPS can be slow

Australia post is also slow

I ordered a 5 wood from global golf and it arrived at my door in 5 working days, I ordered a wedge shaft from melbourne and its still hasnt arrived

I pretty much wont buy from sellers now using USPS if I can really avoid it, I will ask them if they can send Fed ex, they say its too exspensive but if they get an account with fed ex its cheaper.
